Everybody says that the world is becoming smaller. But there are more sites declared World Heritage by UNESCO each year. The more we know, the smaller seems to be our knowledgment... Shrines and Temples of Nikko (Japan)

Rinzo, Toshogu Shrine
It is double layered roof, and building is 12 square meters. Buddhist sutra has been stored in the Rinzo. 1456 copies of 6325 volumes are put in the octagonal revolving shelf. The complex of Toshogu was a memorial for Ieyasu Tokugawa (xXVI), the founder of the powerful Tokugawa shogun dinasty.
